This album is to represent my journey in finding serenity. About 5 years ago I started my struggle with anxiety attacks. Over the years it progressively became worst. I was at the point where I would never want to leave the comfort of my home. My mind was always racing and thinking the worst outcome of everything, even the simple things such as eating. I was given medication for depression and anxiety but I didn't want that to be the source of my comfort. I wanted to be free from the tension and feel alive again. I turned to God praying for years to get me through my fears so that I wouldn't have to use any type of medicine. Though my answers weren't answered right away, I began writing music. Soft relaxing music that I could calm down to express my Love to God. Three years pass and here I still am. I've not touched any kind of medication for those three years and I am only getting stronger. I just recently went on a tour for a friend of mine as a drummer. During this tour I got to perform one of my piano scores "When Autumn Leaves." In front of big crowds and small crowds. Not only was I seeing the work of God but I got to show the world that I was putting my fears aside and share my story to those who struggle with anxiety/ depression. I committed myself in writing soothing music to give anyone who listens HOPE for a better tomorrow. That we as people are strong enough to endure the things we face. I hope my music can spread to the world and give that peace to people.
